Conference Networking Dinner – Thursday 8th June
Our vision for WCSMO-15 is to offer attendees a unique and truly authentic Irish experience. When reviewing potential venues for the congress dinner, we felt no venue would encapsulate this vision more than Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
For 45 years, Pairc Ui Chaoimh has been the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Cork. Our national games of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie are played in this iconic 45,000 seater stadium throughout the year. There are a limited number of stadiums in the world that can match this capacity but what makes Pairc Ui Chaoimh unique is that, in Cork, it is the home of our national games, games played in front of 45,000 passionate fans, not by highly paid professional athletes, but by amateurs, participating for the love of the game, for their families, their communities and their counties.
With over 2,500 clubs all around Ireland and the world, the GAA is a beacon for bringing people together. No other movement quite captures the spirit of Ireland like the GAA and no other venue can showcase this quite as much as Pairc Ui Chaoimh. This truly unique venue will add great meaning and significance to WCSMO-15 where we hope to be that beacon for bringing our community together in Cork.
The Seandún Suite is our largest conference suite consisting of both the Seandún View and the Seandún Terrace. This suite overlooks both the main pitch and the 4G pitch, allowing for a spacious, naturally lit room with exceptional views. With a capacity of up to 650 attendees, it is perfect for corporate conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions and product launches. The Seandún Suite is equipped with a fully integrated AV system consisting of two connecting drop down projector screens, three HD LED smart televisions, stage, podium and two microphones all complimentary with venue hire.
In Páírc Uí Chaoimh, our dedicated team of chefs create all menus using the best of Irish produce and are mindful of the latest trends. We are also happy to work with you to create a bespoke menu to suit the needs of your event.
